We just released an update to the website blocking/ignore feature in the Listening Engine. Basically we’ve updated the amount of time and options you have to block a website you don’t want to see.
Above is a quick overview and here is what this update contains:
Now block a website/domain for 2 hours, 4 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days, or forever. Yes we added more options (the hours - before we only had permanent, 2 day, 7 day).
This works as you would expect, click on the BLOCK next to domain name on a piece of content. Then click on whatever option you want to block that website for.
2 Hours is a great option if you are actively curating and you’ve already curated from a site, simply block it for a short time.
We also updated the text, before the options said “block for 1 day”. We thought that was a little unnecessary in the UI because the only way to get there was by clicking block. So it was a little redundant.
